Day 1:

Upon arrival at Juan Santamaría International airport, our driver will meet and transfer you to San José. Overnight at Don Carlos Hotel. Located in the oldest historical section of San José, the ‘Four Star’ Hotel Don Carlos is a small, but significant part of Costa Rica’s rich heritage. Once upon a time residence for two past Presidential families, the historical Hotel Don Carlos’ warmth and charm, graciously awaits you.

Day 2:

Breakfast. Full day tour  to Poás Volcano National Park to observe one of the largest craters in the world and the forest of the area. Visit to La Paz Waterfall Gardens with over 70 acres of natural preserve to explore, as well as a Butterfly Observatory, Hummingbird Garden, and waterfall gardens. Lunch. Continue to Sarapiquí River to board a comfortable boat to enjoy a relaxing boat ride to observe the wildlife of the area, like iguanas, monkeys, turtles, crocodiles, and colorful birds. Overnight at Don Carlos Hotel.

Day 3:

Breakfast. Departure to Arenal area, known for the Costa Rica’s most active volcano. Visit Sarchi Art Craft Center. Typical lunch included in a restaurant near Arenal Volcano. In the afternoon, visit to Tabacón hot springs, where you can relax in the soothing waters. At evening you will enjoy a splendid buffet dinner at the resort. Overnight at Lomas del Volcan/lavas tacotal/ quioro, which offers spectacular views from the private balcony of the nightly showers of lava and glowing rocks discharged from the volcano.

Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to  Cano Negro Wildlife located north of Arenal near Los Chiles and the Nicaraguan border, is a refuge with abundant wildlife. Take a guided boat trip down the Rio Frio. Great birding. Also many reptiles, mammals, and all around beautiful scenery. Overnight in Lomas del Volcan. 

Day 5:

Breakfast. Departure to Manuel Antonio in a private transportation.  Enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the most exquisite restaurants in Manuel Antonio, The  Anaconda, where you can enjoy the international cuisine or a traditional Costa Rican Dish.  In the afternoon  you can experience the adventure of  Canopy tour. Travel through the primary Costa Rican tropical jungle on suspension cables as you move through the primary jungle canopy with your bilingual guides and safety spotters from platform to platform. Overnight in  Costa Verde Hotel.

Day 6:

Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to Isla Damas Mangroo in the mourning Isla Damas features three types of mangrove forests connected by a myriad of choked and hidden waterways. Guests on this highly recommended tour are often rewarded with sightings of white-faced monkeys, giant anteaters, three-toed sloths, exotic bird species, alligators, boa constrictors, rare crab-eating racoons, and the list goes on. Free Afternoon. We recommend a visit to Manueal Antonio National Park or enjoy the sunset in one of the many sports along the hill.

Day 6:

Breakfast. Free morning to enjoy the hotel facilities. Departure to San José. Overnight at Don Carlos Hotel.

Day 7:

Breakfast. Transfer  to Juan Santamaria International Airport

Day 1:
Fly to the San Jose international airport. Upon arrival you will be met by one of our representatives, at which point your itinerary will be explained and questions answered.  From the airport you will be transported to Hotel Alta. Only minutes away from the bustling city of Escazu and the typical Costa Rican town of Santa Ana, Hotel Alta is a wonderful Spanish Colonial stay with continental Breakfast included.

Day 2:
Transfer to La Fortuna by private microbus (approx. 3 hours). Stay at  Arenal Springs in a Junior Suite. Relax & enjoy the pools whilst sipping on an exotic cocktail at the wetbar and taking in the great views of the volcano. Junior Suites come equipped with A/C, safety deposit box and many more amenities.

Day 3:
Enjoy the sights and the sounds of the rainforest and experience its peacefulness as you quietly paddle the Peñas Blancas River. Monkeys, sloths, iguanas, crocodiles and numerous tropical birds await you! The professional bilingual guide will share with you educational and interesting facts of the plants and animals that you'll encounter on the float. You will truly appreciate the wonders of Peñas Blancas river and the surrounding rainforest as you travel down the river without a motor, enjoying the journey quietly rowing and taking photos.

Day 4:
After breakfast, transfer to Tamarindo by private microbus (approx. 4 hours). Stay at the Stay at Tamarindo Diria Hotel. This beachfront resort offers 113 rooms and two spectacular pools, one which is the biggest in Tamarindo. Manicured tropical gardens surround the property. A buffet breakfast is included.

Day 5:
Ready to play Tarzan?` Take part in the Buena Vista Combo Tour, a full day Tour that allows you to enjoy a great variety of activities in one place surrounded by nature and the tranquility of the area. In this tour you will enjoy the primary forest in a variety of ways; trails built up in the top of the trees (about 105 feet high), with small hike takes you to the first platform, from there you start swinging to the other 12 platforms, which are connected by 9 cables from 150 to 400 feet long. The tour includes the Canopy Tour, Hot Springs, Waterslides, a Typical Buffet Lunch, and an English speaking guide

Day 6:
Relax on the beach! Catch some waves or soak up the sunshine!

Day 7:
Transfer to San Jose by private microbus t at Hotel Alta.

Day 8:
Transfer to the international airport for your flight home.
